Overview

Our ecopoetry workshops offer high quality, engaging experiences for adults and children. All workshops are designed to educate, enrich, and inspire through writing that is grounded in the natural world.

Based in Kent, we work with festivals, schools, communities, environmental charities, arts outreach, and other public and private events around the country. Workshops can be tailored to meet specific requirements, can be run inside or outside, and can be pitched at a level suited to the audience.

We are always happy to discuss any ideas you may have for projects that incorporate our workshops. To make an enquiry please contact us or email info [at] gotothepine.com.

Workshops for adults

Our adult workshops explore some of the tools, techniques, and approaches that ecopoetry brings to language and the landscapes we live with today. Through varied creative exercises, participants gain practical writing experience whilst also being introduced to the work of both canonical and contemporary poets in the field.

Innovative, open, and playful, workshops emphasise freedom and experimentation. By the end of a workshop, a participant will have started work on several of their own poems and be informed enough to develop their interest in ecopoetry further should they wish.

Workshops for children
